WaveSpring footwear technology - one spring in the heel and two in the forefoot - gives this running shoe incomparable cushioning and energy return for the neutral runner. The springs maintain a "like new" performance throughout the life of the shoe, while reducing impact shock for less stress on joints and reduced foot fatigue. The high abrasion carbon rubber outsole and single-density midsole flex plate, combined with the EVA cushion pads on the forefoot and the WaveSpring design, work together to provide increased flexibility and cushioning. The breathable air mesh upper and forefoot "flex fingers" over the metatarsal area provide exceptional fit and comfort.
