Padded without feeling like a Marsh Mellow. I would like this shoe for light running, to recommend to the gym, and hiking. Probably not ideal for serious runners. Fits true to size. Years, had my mother read me a new pair of running shoes to a Consumer Reports, that the least expensive shoe she tried out for what proved the highest recorded, said based. The shoes were Saucony Jazz shoes, and they were the best shoes that I had run into up there. Since then I have had Nike and New Balance, but jazz is still the best I have ever worn. I have this daily after running on dirt roads, on a FOB in Iraq had completely destroyed the Nikes I hadWearing a relatively short time, and I was curious to see how the Jazz had stood the test of time. They are still better than everything else on the market, I've tried. The knee and back pain I had after running under are now gone, and the fit is much better than Nikes tend to run very narrow and I have a wide mouth. I have about six different shoes trail in recent years (Addidas, Nike, Asics, Montrail) and taken to a Montrail fan in general. Loved and miss the Masai. Liked the Continental Divide - ideal for long runs - but not fast feel. The line does it all: quick, easy and bombers still enough for long runs. Roomy in the toe, so I do not get blisters on long runs. My only concern is durability: The sole is peeling a little at the heel. But for trained and completed a 50k inComfort, ease, and nary a blister. My feet tend to be "hot" and there is proper ventilation.

Brooks could have to do a better job in naming their shoes. I bought the street version of the shoe not noticed the suffix Adrenaline GTS vs ASR. Tell a friend about the Adrenaline ASR shoes for runners who need stability line.
